Where are you in your college search?

With the fall season winding down, it is a good time to ask yourself where are you in your college search?  Ask yourself these questions:


Do you have your target schools?

• If you don't have your target schools, start your research.  

Have you made contact with them?  If so, how by email, phone, or in person?

• If you haven't initiated contact,  start with an email.  Ask about upcoming clinics.  Give a recap of your fall season.

Have your target schools evaluated your skill set?  By video? At a game? From the recommendation from one of your coaches?

• Ask your coach to make contact on your behalf.

Do you need to re-assess your target schools?

• If you have hit a wall, reassess and broaden your search.  Try other schools in the same conference of some of your previous choices.
